Investing in the Future

Hawkins Ryan is proud to announce that Tom Butler has successfully passed his qualification as an Admitted Solicitor of the Supreme Court. Tom, who joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in July 2023, will now specialise in Commercial and Civil Litigation.

Tom has been training under the esteemed guidance of Paul Sheerin, who himself joined the firm in 1986. Commenting on Tom's progress, Paul Sheerin expressed his excitement, “It has been a pleasure to watch Tom develop over time. As he approached qualification, it was evident that everything was clicking for him, from understanding strict legal issues to embracing the ethos of client care.”

Tom's journey at Hawkins Ryan has been marked by significant achievements. One notable instance was his involvement in a recent business acquisition case, where his efforts were highly commended by the client despite facing substantial challenges.

Reflecting on his choice to join Hawkins Ryan, Tom Butler said, “The opportunity to deal with a broad range of matters with a specialised provincial firm was incredibly appealing to me.”
